Make a Difference
We couldn’t do all we do without community support. If you or your organization want to donate, you can shop from our Amazon wish list or click the link below to donate to our various needs. All funds will be earmarked and accounted for. Below are links and descriptions of each and how they impact the community. Donations are not always monetary. Many supporters share their gifts, talents, and resources with this community. Donations are tax-deductible.
This can be monetary or physical resources, such as gowns, crocheted items, lilies, or comfort blankets for moms and dads who have extended stays at the hospital.
Each year we have partners that generous donate keepsake crafts, water, flowers, decor items and arrive early to set up stations and tables..
Our general fund was created to meet the ever-changing needs of our families. Mothers and fathers who deliver early are not given maternity or paternity leave (unless their employer has granted it). This can put a high financial burden on our families. Although we are not equipped to provide for every need, we would like the opportunity to remove some of the stress and ensure families have their basic needs met. Groceries, electric bills. This would be an application process to assess needs, and any payments would be made directly to their service providers.
Our T-shirts help us get the word out. Every time you wear them there is an opportunity to reach another family. You can shirts, sweatshirts, or hats. Each year we release a new design.
We will never forget our roots; awareness and education are where this all began. It is nothing short of a miracle how it all started and has continued. You can read the full story here of how two doctors, a small grassroots group of Medical students, a nurse committed to improve perinatal and bereavement care for their industry and their families. Donations made here will continue to provide meals for medical students who attend to ACOM and serve with MILA. We meet with them once a month, and they accompany bereavement photographers in our area to assist and help alleviate the extra needs of a maternity patient. Since it’s inception they have created phamplets, helped with research, a book for children, crocheted gifts for siblings and much more.
